Treat Bed Bugs

Ok so i have got a problem with either bed bugs or fleas but im not sure which one. I have got bites all over my body and i am constantly itching to the point where i’m getting 4 hours of sleep a night because i’m so uncomfortable.

Can anyone please let me know a solution to my problem ASAP!

sounds like bed bugs. Call an exterminator. First link is pics of people with bed bug bites. Second link shows pics of fleas and some folks with bites. If you’ve got fleas you should see some. Bed bugs are much more difficult to see.

I bought some new mattreses for my parents and we've always put them out in the sun but a few weeks later we found bed bugs hiding underneath the sides of the mattress eventhough we put the mattress in the sun. My Dad even had to get rid of his mattress cause we couldn't get rid of the bed bugs.

how bout next time u don't put a matress out in the sun? then maybe when its just inside where it belongs it will stay clean…duh!

My friend and her family found bed bugs in their apartment. I think they got them from the people in one of the other apartments. I told them to call the landlord so he can send in an exterminator, but they don’t want to call because they are afraid that the landlord will kick them out of the apartment because of the bugs. Could he really do that?
I asked her - they don't have a lease, they go month by month or whatever it's called.

Only if the family has let the infestation go on so long that it is causing damage to the rental unit would they be kicked out.

by not calling the landlord they are probably in violation of the lease. Most lease have a section that states the tenant takes the responsibility to let the landlord know immediately if there are any conditions that make the unit unlivable. and if they don’t then they can kick them out to fix the problem.

tell them to get it taken care of. it will only get worse and they will only get in more trouble by waiting.

every single night, i go to bed, and i try to sleep, but i cant because of all those bed bugs pinching me. they are too anoying for me to handle. what should i do about them?

I have heard of hotels lately in Toronto infested with bedbugs, could you please list where they do and don't have bed bugs, preferably where they don't? Thank-you.

Bed bugs have been a problem across North America in the last several years. Toronto isn't much different, especially among cities its size.

Dirtiness. Unkept / Unclean house. You need to keep things clean on a weekly basis. Don’t wear dirty clothes in bed either.

I am really scared of getting bed bugs. I have a very small apt and the bedroom is cluttered and I heard you can get them from a cluttered bedroom. Does anyone know if it is true?
really, what if you have stuff under your bed and don't vacuum can you get bed bugs?

My bedroom is also cluttered and I don’t clean that often (I’m a guy).
I don’t have bed bugs.

If you do have them, buy cleaning sprays or whatever from the store. Move everything out of your room into the living room…. clean it all up and put everything back. Get rid of the junk you don’t need. If you need new carpet, ask.

Take showers, change clothes, change sheets, etc will keep them away.
You never can get rid of all the bed bugs, but don’t fear them.
