Treat Bed Bugs

My neighbors across the hall had bed bugs and I saw them dragging out their mattress to be thrown away because the bed bugs had colonized inside the mattress. How do I prevent them from getting inside my mattress or box spring?? My mattress cost me about $1,500 and I really don't want to face the thought of disposing it.

Keep the whole room clean. Vacuum not only around and under the bed, but also baseboards, closets, regularly clean drawers, etc. Here's a website:

Is it credible information? that by pouring hundreds of bedbugs on the bed of high blood person it can cure / reduce the high blood pressure problem of his /her body.

i have heard about leeches but not bedbugs. well they may suck your blood but you will have other skin deceases that would make the situation worse.i am afraid that before the bedbug could make another bite your blood pressure has rise up because of itchiness you will encounter all over your body. with the smell of the bug that is very sickening, i don't recommend.
