Diatomaceous earth really work for bed bugs?
We are having a problem with bedbugs. I read in wikipedia using Diatomaceous earth with some oils kills bed bugs forever. I am planning to buy that DE. Is that a good idea? and by the way we even tried fabric steamer, steaming my bed every for 2 days but no use. Still I am getting some new bites every day. Some one please help me.
So far I found that DE does not really work. I work in a pest control company and I do at least 3 to 4 bed bug jobs a day. So I have alot of experience with bed bugs. The best thing to do is to have a pest control company come in and treat for them. You can though buy some rubbing alcohol but it has to be 70% or greater. Put it in a squirt bottle and that will kill all 3 stages of them on contact. You can also get plastic bed covers which will keep them in there and not let any more get in.
