Treat Bed Bugs

Are You Safe From The Bed Bug Bites?

Archive for October 2nd, 2008

i been trying to get rid of them with many products but noting works!!! and i just can't take them no more…

You can't get rid of them-they're always there. You can't see them either, they're microscopic (if you CAN see the bugs you are referring to, those are NOT bedbugs and are REAL bugs…you have a whole different problem if this is the case!). You can reduce them by washing your sheets often (like once a week).

bed bugs are too irritating…..so please if any one knows how to permanently get rid of it…………it wud be great

Unfortunately they are extremely hard to get rid of, and sometimes even exterminators have a hard time, because they go into the smallest cracks and crevices, down deep in the mattress, under carpet and in walls, and they seem to only come out when it is dark. If you have bedbugs in your mattress, it might be wise to seal it up in plastic, and get rid of it, then have your house exterminated. Be careful because bedbugs do not discriminate, you can get them from a movie theater or a fancy restaurant! You may have to get repeat treatments, or a combo or treatments. Good Luck!

We're having a bed bug problem at home, and many sources recommend washing fabrics at high temperatures to kill any bugs they may be harboring.

I'm afraid my clothes will shrink if I do, and I don't want to spend a huge amount of money having the clothes sent off to e decontaminated. Would I be able to leave clothes in a bucket of piping hot water for a short while to kill the buggers?

We're still calling in the experts to treat the place, but I want to make sure they're off the clothes too, as well as the rest of the house.

Consider fumigation by freezing — it's an excellent method of insect control that does not damage fabrics.

I live in a house, not an apartment building. I was being bitten every night, so I started searching the net on what it could be. Tonight I caught one on my right shoulder. Since I live in a house, would it be effective to spray and bomb every inch of the house? Should I vacuum, steam clean, wash clothes, then spray/bomb? What are the steps? I don’t want a natural method either. I want these things to die painfully and quickly.

the best thing to do is to buy this powder that they sell and sprinkle it all over the inside of your bottom mattress. you may have to rip open the bottom liner to get it inside where those suckers hide. Then spray down the mattress with goodnight bed bug mattress spray. wash your bedding thoroughly and they should die off. if you are worried they may return then i would definitely bomb the home as well.

I would like to know if anybody has used Spray away bedbugs product to get rid of bed bugs which is based on natural enzymes or a similar product. I need to know if products such as this really work to help eradicate bed bugs. This is a very annoying problem, and only serious advices or solutions would help.

I used it and it worked great. I recommend it highly.

My friend has bed bugs. I can’t really stay away from her all the time because she sits beside me and stuff, and I can’t move away from her. So if I spray bug repelent or something like that on me will they stay away??

help! bed bug bites!?

Oct-2-2008 By admin

My boyfriend and I have both broken out in itchy red bumps in various places on our bodies. I did a little research and think that they may be the product of bed bugs. I spotted 2 flat brown bugs around here in the past couple weeks. It is also an older apartment. We washed the sheets and disinfected the matress, but they seem to still be biting. The odd thing is that some of the bumps seem to just appear (when awake and out of the apartment). Can bed bug bites pop up later after the initial bite? Any tips for treating them and the bumps they leave? thanks!

If the bites are from bed bugs, you are going to need to take serious action with the bed. However, that is NOT going to be enough.

Bed bugs don't reside exclusively in bedding. They just like to hang out there at night because there's a great buffet–YOU!

They can make their home elsewhere in your apartment and I'd hate to think that you'd invest an arm and a leg on a new mattress/box spring set only to have it re-invaded.
