Treat Bed Bugs

We have an apartment building that has 1 unit with bedbugs, they are only in their bedroom. The tenants got rid of their old mattress, we hired a professional, whom did 2 treatments to no avail…now what?

You'll Have to get rid Of your bed,carpeting.have drapes cleaned. It's a very long process. Even your clothing will have to be cleaned. EVERYTHING !!! Once you get these they're hard to get rid of. One way to prevent this is by weekly vaccuming of your mattress once you eliminate the problem.

I recently had two kids to sleep over my house and later found out that they had bed bugs at home. Help! Do I have them now?

Regular old bed bugs can be gotten rid of with good old fashioned washing of the sheets and taking a bath using soap EVERYWHERE.
But if you are talking about LICE, then you'll need to do the above prescription using a product from the Drug Store for lice and make sure it contains RAGWEED.

I red about that you can put mineral oil.on the bed to get rid of the bed bug but i would like to know if is safe because my cats sleep on the bed. I don't want my cats to get sick.

You are correct in wanting to minimize the chemcials that are used to treat your mattress when pets are involved.

I would direct you to a company called Kleen-Free that has a spray called BedBug Terminator that shoudl work for you. It is chemical free and safe to use around pets etc.
